The Boston Globe Magazine-Emerson College Polling survey of New England adults was conducted February 2-7, 2024. The study interviewed 6,000 adults (n=1,000 residents per New England state). State results hold a credibility interval, similar to a poll’s margin of error, per state of +/-3%. The overall New England sample was weighted proportionately for n=2,167 with a credibility interval of +/-2%. Data was collected by contacting cell phones via MMS-to-web, landlines via Interactive Voice Response, email, and an online panel.
